Stanier black five preserved steam locomotive, number 45407, named the Lancashire Fusilier, with an empty coaching stock working, service 5Z47, the 11:26 from Castleton Hopwood Gf to Carnforth Steamtown on Wednesday 10th April 2024. As the preserved loco leaves the West Coast Main Line, Northern trains class 195 dmu, unit number 195114, heads south on the WCML with service 1Y81, an express passenger working, the 13:07 from Windermere to Manchester Piccadilly. (Originally scheduled to Manchester Airport but only ran as far as Piccadilly).
